Maternity Belly bands??

Are they comfortable? I'm thinking about getting one. This is my second pregnancy but I didnt really know about them so I'm not sure if they are comfy or good investment. I'm 12 weeks right now 13 on momnday. Well anyways I feel like my pants are getting a little tight aroud my waist but then again im not comfortable in maternity jeans yet they feel too loose. My belly wont hold them up yet lol! So i really just wear my pants that are streachier and stuff. So are the bands  a good idea or is it kind of the same thing as the rubber band trick to make your pants a little bigger?

I have one and I love it, because I can still my regular jeans an im almost 30 weeks. I ordered my off of amazon, because I couldn't find one at any stores near by.. mine is called a Bella band, I paid $28. It doesn't ride up either,  it has a thin rubber type of lining around the top too to keep it from rolling down. It's very comfortable,  I wish I bought one of these with my other pregnancies. . Definitely get one :)

I dont but you just have to be sure you put it on right, but my belly holds it in place lol. Im not sure how much money yout willing to spend. But i just went with the support one which like i said cost $30 but in the long run its worth it.

Thanks ladies! I have that store in my mall too lol! I just need something to give me a lttle more room still fit in all of my pants but around my waist its getting a little bit uncomfortable. I should look up those support ones Im sure they will be useful later on. So none of you have had a problem with them rising a lot or anything like that?

They sell the rubber band kind and the stretchy plain belly bands that I like. Mine was around 15 from destination maternity. Then they have the support bands that are closer to 30 that hold up the belly but I dont need that yet at 12 weeks so I cant advise on it

I started using the maternity belt late in my second trimester. The first week was very uncomfortable for me I felt it was too tight and it suffocated my belly so I took it off. It also felt like uncomfortable pressure that was hurting me but after repeated use I fell in love with it because as my baby dropped it helped to relieve my pelvic pain and lower back pressure. Now I wear it all the time during the day and even wen I go to bed at night. It gives me firm support to roll over in bed without feeling weighed down by my dropping belly. Women feel differently about maternity belts but if you decide to purchase one do a bit of your own research as there are different styles and designs to pinpoint different areas of pain and pressure for different women. Also the correct size also matters so purchasing the correct kind of maternity belt during your pregnancy is just as important as the right style/design/ andelasticity

That's good to hear where did you get yours? Are there different sizes or is it a one size fits all? Do they move at all? At my work  im very active and i bend over a lot and do those type of movements like squatting so i wonder if they rise at all.

I actually just bought one, this is my 2nd pregnancy as well almost 20wks along. I have to say its the best $30 i have spent so far. It gives you back support and holds up my bump. I say its worth it.
