Mcdonald Stitch
Hi has anybody had a mcdonald stich and how long was the recocery period? Has it saved you from miscarrying?
Thanks ladies. Im 19weeks and dr gave me the cyclogest pessaries 1 twice a day 7 days and then 1 a day up until i give birth. Im just worried sbout the baby so im looking forward to my scan next week.
I also have the same stitch but twice. Mine was a put in at 14 weeks the light bleed stopped in 24hrs but I didn't feel normal until about 1month after. Started progesterone shots at 20weeks am now 25 weeks along. So far so good. Best of luck
At 20weeks I had a cervical cerclage. My cervix was measuring at 8mm. A reg cervix should measure 30mm. I'm now 23weeks on bed rest & see the doc once a week. My cervix is now measuring at 25mm. I also take progesterone once a day. Sooo I'm not sure if it's just the stitch or a combination of all those things, but seems 2 be preventing me from a miscarriage.
