Medication when pregnant

Is it ok to take OTC Vicksburg cold and sinus medicine when sick during pregnant?

Always call the pharmacist! They have a big old book filled with data. Most sinus and cold medications are off-limits. Use a humidifier, natural Vicks rub, a Neti pot, spicy foods and other natural remedies to relieve symptoms. And remember... this too shall pass!

I am with wannabeamommy, I have suffered plenty colds this year, and another right now.,
and have only taken the benedryl...Sure wish I had know about the robotussin! Please dont take anything without talking to your dr or pharmacy.

noooo!! the only thing u can take when pregnant is benadryl which may help clear ur sinuses... robitussin for cough and chest congestion, and tylenol for pain and fever... do not take anything with out consulting your doctor first! many medications have dangerous chemicals that can harm baby!!
