Midwife or Obgyn

I just want some opinions when it comes to this topic. What are disadvantages and the advantages to using a midwife or a ObGyn? Im trying to concieve and when i do get pregnant i want to know all of my options.

Thanks for the responce but do they allow you to have a epidural? that is my only question about it. i really want a midwife but im not sure about it yet...

I would say midwife all the way!  They are more sensitive to your needs, they are into the natural births, they try their best relax you, they are wonderful!  They will go beyond their duties to make sure you are as comfortable as possible for your delivery.  While delivering, they will try their best to allow you to see your own birth with a mirror, and they try their best not to allow you to rip!  Sorry, TMI. Of course, OBGYNs are better for emergency surgeries, but doctors are more into the "get in, deliver, and get out"!  That's just my opinion.  I know from experience.  Ive had both.
