Is it safe to go get my nails done? I never did with my first 2 pregnancies so wasn't sure. :)

The difference is gel is like a real strong nail polish it goes right on top of your nails it looks more natural its very shiny and pretty.
acrilics a r fake nails they glue them on your nails file it down cut them however long or short you like it takes alot longer they are also pretty. Both gel and acrilics last about two weeks then you will need fills or gel taken off and put back on. I love gel because its clean and dries soo quick no waiting around to dry your nails.

I would suggest French tip.. doctors use your nail beds as an indication of how good your circulation is should something happen! Other than that I don't see why not!

Yes ↑ she is right acrilics are more I dont like to say it but they are more dirty. Im a caregiver and have taken classes on how the bacteria grows and stays in them.  Thats why I use gel now.

Keep in mind that acrylics are more toxic when they are filed or removed.  At least that's what my mom says and she's a licensed cosmetologist.

Ye, just got mine done I got gel. But with my first son I used to get acrilics so id say its ok

I was in California with my first pregnancy and some salons turned me away when I started to show, but then I moved to Ohio and I swear almost every pregnant woman has her nails done lol... I honestly don't see how it could be a terrible thing
