Im 28weeks now and my belly is ALWAYS itchy!! Thing is I bite my nails so I can't scratch it!! Today I picked up a comb and went crazy lol it felt so good!! Is this harmful to my baby?? I don't do it hard at all.

It will be due to your skin stretching I also get it. Scratching shouldn't harm your baby but be careful not to brake the skin as you could get infection

DO NOT ITCH!!!  Not good for the skin.  Likelihood of stretchmarks increases greatly because the skin is so fragile.  Use Bio oil (i use the walgreens drugstore brand) and st Ives mineral therapy intense 24 hour lotion. Swear by it.  I bring it everywhere. Olive oil after shower is great too & natural!!'

I just went to a breast feeding class and she told me not to use anything on my breast from this point on. I'm 34 weeks btw. Something about the breast will start making that white liquid at the nipples and not to wash that away. No soap or body wash or lotions. Just warm water wipe if needed. Something about preventing sore nipples down the line when I start breast feeding I think.
Sorry for getting off the subject, just want to share the info :p

Ha ha ha! How funny I did that to my boobs. They were just so darn itchy!  But then I started putting lotion on them everyday & now it is so much better

Try baby oil (I use baby oil gel) right after you shower. It keeps the skin super moisturized and my itching went away.

No it shouldn't be! Just keep an eye out for stretch marks! Lotion up your belly daily just in case, I do! No stretch marks yet and I'm 31 wks!
