I have finally been reffered to a gynocologist since my miscarriage on Oct 30.  I will be seeing him in a few hours and would like to get some ideas on what questions I should ask him to make sure this does not happen to me again?  I would love your input plz?

There are so many reasons for mc,its hard to say what causes them.I had numerous tests done,couldnt find anything wrong we were told that IVF was our only option,I refused to except this,and took matters into my own hands.and I started to drink fertilitea,tastes disqustings.but it worked,its all natural incredients,basically it prepares your uterus etc,for implantation.
I alos insisted on progesterone suppositries,and was put on baby asprin,however in all honestly,they are unlikely to do this for you.since this is your 2nd loss,disqusting I know,any mc warrants investigations.for yourself,leave a healthy lifestyle,cut back on drinking and smoking if you do,healthy diet,wouldnt hurt for hubby to do the same. made my hubby take vit c and e,along with zinc,helps improve quality of sperm.dont give up though hun.im sure it will happen soon again for you,we all fear another mc,especially after 1,but chances are you will go on to have a succesful pregnancy.all the best.

Typically there's nothing that can stop a miscarriage. 1/5 women experiance them, and it's normally due to chromosomal issues. More or less the fetus wouldn't survive outside the womb. You could ask if they could check your uterus and progesterone levels to see if all of that is fine. I'm surprised they're seeing you though. Normally you need to have had more. Maybe that's just where I live though.

That is awsome..Congrats.  Did they find anything out to help you get pregnant?  Would like to know if there is anything that I could do to prevent this from happening again

Your lucky that they are see'ing you now her ein the uk,unless you have had 3 or more,they wont do anything except say 1 in 4 mc.Ive suffered 6 losses,and took me 2 years to get appointment with them,I really hope you get the answers you want,on a good note,since my losses ive now got a lovely 8month old,and pregnant again.and so will you.all the best.

This will be my second one.  I had one about 17 years ago.  It scared me so much that I did not try to get pregnant until recently which resulted in another.
