Missed 3 pills in a row, finished period exactly one week ago, by how much have my chances of being pregnant increased?

I use Yaz birth control, and I start a new pack every fourth Tuesday. Last Monday (September 20th) I started my period, and it finished on Thursday. This past Monday (the 27th) I started missing pills. I missed Monday's, Tuesday's, and Wednesday's, and today is Thursday the 30th. Upon freaking out, I took two pills -- Monday's and Tuesday's. I plan on taking Wednesday's and Thursday's tomorrow, and Friday's and Saturday's on Saturday. Is that right?

Also, I know the chances of being pregnant have skyrocketed now, because I didn't realize I'd missed pills until just now and I've had unprotected sex with my boyfriend a number of times since Monday. Birth control is supposed to stop an egg from being released, right? Is it possible that because I missed all those pills, an egg WILL be released on my ovulation day this time and could very well be fertilized? Or, if I stick to my plan and take two per day until Saturday, can I still save an egg from being released? I'm really, really scared now. I've only ever missed a maximum of two pills, never three, and I've always been lucky not to get pregnant. I'm scared I've used up all my free passes.

If someone could address my concerns, it would be much appreciated, thank you.

UPDATE:

Freaking out because I just noticed light spotting when I went to the bathroom today. I also remember having some cramp-like feelings though they only lasted about a minute, earlier in the day. Could this be implantation bleeding??? :S (I don't have any other "early symptoms" of pregnancy; no tender breasts, no back aches, nothing like that.)

The Yaz website does say to double up as you are doing if you miss two days in a row. So, that is right and you should be fine.
Just wanted to clarify that Yaz works in three ways: prevents ovulation, makes the uterine lining a 'hostile' environment and changes the consistency of cervical mucus.

I know some BC things advise you to double up if you have missed pills (I have no idea why though) ask your doctor about it and what they want you to do. He might recommend otherwise.

Oh, I didn't know! I think the little booklet that comes with my BC pack tells me to double up, so I just do. :S

Thanks for the warning, though! I'm really just praying that whatever the case may be, no egg gets fertilized.

You should NEVER double up on the pills... Just resume normally when you remember.. NEVER DOUBLE UP!!!

I know some pills dont stop ovlation they provide a wall around the egg to stop it from being fertilized... hence why you still have periods with taking some pills...

If you ever miss pills again,Dont double up, just resume as normal!

Thanks for your responses!

I've missed pills in the past and I'm not sure whether it's messed up my ovulation, but my periods have been consistent since I started the pill so I'm guessing it hasn't messed up thus far. Does anyone know if Yaz specifically prevents ovulation? I just assume my ovulation day is day 14, which for me is tomorrow (October 3rd), so if I missed pills on September 27th, 28th, and 29th, and had unprotected sex on the 24th, 25th, 28th, and 30th...well, you can see why I'm worried. (And yes, I keep track of the dates, thank you, iPod app.)

I really wish it was possible to get tested sooner.

Well I was saying that if u have like an average 28 day cycle then that's like halfway after ur first period and your next period. Pretty much means the same thing just depends how long your cycle is. Doesn't it?
That's what I've been taught.

As Clysta said- ovulation determines when your next period comes which is roughly 14 days after ovulation NOT the other way around.

I didn't know you could double up on your pills if you missed because each pill contains hormones to control your body's reproductive cycle. Taking double the pills is taking double the hormones. Did your doctor advise you to do that?

Each BC is different. Some prevent ovulation and some don't. It depends on what you're taking.

Technically, it's 14 days before a period. Ovulation is what actually causes a menstrual cycle, not vise versa.  As said, it all just depends on when you ovulate. Missing pills can mess up your ovulation, so it's hard to say if (when) you will.

I know how you feel. For the past two and a half weeks I've never taken my gianvi (generic form of yaz) on time. I had sex every Sunday since the beginning of the month including just this past Sunday and then I misplaced my bc pack so I hvent been taking birth control at all since Sunday.
Your and my chances of conceiving pretty much all depend on when we ovulate. I also start ny new pack every 4th Tuesday. So I either just ovulated or still am which means my chances are probably higher.
Most people ovulate 14 days after their period. So u can calculate yours and see when u have or will ovulate.
Wish u the best of luck and remember u can test about 2 weeks after unprotected sex.
Keep me updated I will too if u want.
