The baby's room! :] Just got the bedding today so I'm excited, and DH isn't here to show it to yet, so I have to show someone! :]

Ooooh, I REALLY like the bedding!!!  Unfortunately when/if we ever have a boy I'll probably have to do a sports theme for DH!

Thats cute.  I was the same way!  I posted pics on here of the badding I got.  My theam is the fisher price rainforest collection.  I love your cribb!  I wanted one like that but I settled with the one I have.  It was free.  I think seeing the room come together make it all so much more real.  Congrads!  Anita

We also brought a cute bedset and  didnt find out until AFTER we had purchased it that it wasnt recommended we use the items until after 1 year!  Very disappointing.

I had a bedding set with my oldest daughter. My MIL put tabs on the blanket and we put a decorate rod through the tabs and hung it on the wall as part of the decorations! If you know how to sew you could do that (she sewed it so the tabs would easily come off without ruining the blanket). They also make breathable bumpers if you want a bumper.

yeah I don't plan to use the crib for a whilllle after he's born, I'll use the bassinet as his room is on a different floor than mine, and we're not putting anything in it. I wanted a bedding set obviously though, it's not a baby room without one! :]

Very nice.

I dont mean to be a wet blanket but are you aware that it is not recommended that anything is used with babys crib in the first year other than a sheet (i.e. no blankets, bumpers, toys, etc.)?  The reason for this is that these items have shown to substantially increase the risk of cot death and SIDS.  Just wanted to let you know.

I haven't picked anything out yet. Still a bit early for me! We're going to wait until we know the gender, too, since we didn't wait last time and ended up doing something more boyish for our daughter.

It is sooo exciting!  My mom bought our bedding set when I was 18w and held onto it until my 'friends' shower...I was soo excited too!  Right now it is sitting in the closet to keep it clean...DH didn't want me to make the bed up yet so that it would remain clean and dust free...Can't wait to make it up though!
