So I got a lovely phone call off of the docs today saying I have an STI! Funny thing is I had a checkup and thats when I found out I was pregnant. Funnt thing is that then I didnt have an infection i havent cheat so does this mean my bf has?

Youre welcome, its because of those 3 people that I treat the std and drug tests suspiciously. If you guys have been loyal and together for a year now with a child on the way, I would give benefit of the doubt. Odds are hes too busy worrying about upcoming bills and delivery to be cheating. I could be wrong but since hes daddy I would give him benefit of the doubt. I hope everything is ok for you :)

That's interesting thankyou they didnt seem like they were 100 percent sure when they rang me to break the news so I dont know if they're giving me the tablets just in case I know I have had thrush before but that isnt an STI although this one is the same symptoms so I wonder if they have got it wrong because when I went for the test the woman says well there isnt any signs of anyrhing wrong an di had thrush then so maybe they could be wrong

I know another lady who popped pos for cocaine and they treated her like a druggoe and called cps and wouldnt let her see her baby for 3 days or feed it. Until she demanded a retest and it proved she had no trace of the substance in her system.

A LOT of pregnant women pop positive randomly for STIs. I know 2 women this has happened to and it almost ended one marriage. She tested pos for herpes and they treated her baby during delivery like she had it, then after birth they tested again bc she demanded it and she was negative. So I would get a second test in a bit and find out, especially if you have had absolutely no signs or symptoms. Always be careful because every test during pregnancy (and in general) has a chance of being false. Maybe benefit of the doubt is due in this case. Maybe not.

Then idk the only thing would be to talk to him about it but be prepared the blame can go on you to even if you didn't do it. If he didn't I have no idea how else you could've got it. Good luck girl.

We have been together just over a year I dont think hed cheat but now its in the back of my mind

I know my husband and I weren't together long before we got married then pregnant. Well breastfeeding in the military and we spent 2 weeks together and he went back and they did testing on him and nothing came up. Well when I went for my pap smear a few weeks later it came up on both of us and I know itwasnt him. He thought I cheated but I didn't it just either didn't show up right away on him or he didn't get it right away.

Im 23w3d by the eay and found out when I was 5 and had many swabs taken in between this is the first time anything has shown up
