Nail salons

wanted to get my nails done before my due date which won't be for awhile. I wanted to get shellac nail since I can't do anything with fake nails and don't wanna scratch my little lovely on accident. Plus I thought shellac because I won't have time to do them myself and they won't get ugly.
My question is that is it safe to go into a nail salon while pregnant? Currently I'm 26 weeks.

Hospitals make you take all nail polish off before you have the baby... so as long as you're not 35+ weeks, it's a great way to pamper yourself  :)

I go to nail salons. Usually try to go once a month or so. I still get my mani/pedis. So far so good! I try to stay away from people doing acrylics since the dust isn't really healthy anyway. But so far, baby boy is good! I'm 28 weeks on Thursday :)

Natural nail salons are popular. You can call ahead to see if it's busy and go in during down time or visit a beauty school which are usually only doing one at a time. I go to a spa and it costs the same but a better experience.
