Name advice please

Hi ladies. I was wondering if i may have some baby name advice please. Im currently 19 + 2 with a little girl and want to name her after both my nanas who have passed. Her name would be Bella Rose. I absolutely love it but everyone I've mentioned it to hates the name saying that im naming her after the Twilight movies character. Granted i do love the movies but that is not the case. I wanted her to have a special name in honor of two women i love. What do you ladies think?

Gorgeous name!! And not everyone in the world is obsessed with Twilight, it didn't even cross my mind when I read the name!

I got criticized too. My youngest is white and Mexican and we named her Aaliyah Leilani and my family kept telling me that that is a black and Hawaiian name I said oh well thats her name ur the mother u name ur child what u want other ppl name their kid so who cares what they think

Name her what you want! :) my daughter is naming her daughter - Finley Harper. My niece is naming her daughter either Mikelti Lynn or September Deanne she can't decide yet lol.

I think its your baby and people are going to say whatever they want to say. What matters is that you are naming her something you want to name her and it has great meaning to you! That is all that matters. People wont continue to say that the rest of her life so that is one thing to remember. The movies wont always be as popular as they are now.

I'm not sure what you're last name is but would it sound right rose bella? Maybe that would shut other up. But truthfully who cares? I was kicking around persephone (per sef a knee) and my husband said how about penelope after garcia on criminal minds because it's my favorite show and that's what we're naming her and calling her penny because my three year ole can't say penelope but parker and penny I love lol.. as long as you like it don't let anyone else change your mind

i think everyone else is right u should just use the name and ignore what ppl say about it cuz the name is going to have a lot of meaning to u n ur daughter(when she is old enough to know what it means to u)

You should name her what you want.  I think it's great you want to name her after family.  Remember you shouldn't have to explain yourself or your cove to anyone.  You can if you choose to, then those asking will feel stupid for saying that.  Just for kicks and giggles though if your daughters first name is Bella than it isn't after twilight character.  In the movie Bella is the nick name.

I absolutely love it. I think you should go with it if its after people you love. If im having a boy it will b Mason and people say no because Im on Mason county lol.

I love that name, but to be honest, for some reason as soon as I read it I thought of Twilight too. But if it's something you love, then go for it! We are calling our little girl Perri, and everyone says 'oh, like peri peri chicken?!;, but the joke will get old very very quickly. Good luck!
