i lost 12 lbs in the first 4 months with my son due to bein sick, and it was so awful. i was starving. this time i decided to get medicine, they gave me zofran which is safe for baby, and works wonders... if u decided to go that route
with the ginger T you dont use milk, twinnings has a ginger and lemon T or you can buy fresh ginger, slice it very thinly and steep it in hot water for around 2-5 min, then you can put some honey in it and sip it :)
Mint gum is now my magic gadget, it works great! Thanks!!!
For everyone its different with my first pregnancy ginger ale made it 100 times worse. :/ it really sucked I am 2 and a hlf months pregnant rght now and I have to take pills prescribed by the doctor.
I know you said that you don't really like mint but mint tea worked wonders for me. Or try ginger tea. And as weird as it sounds sometimes flat soda really helps. Good luck! :)
I made a ginger drink today from ginger root and milk, it didn't seem to help a lot. In the afternoon I got some ginger ale and now feeling much better, just hope it last :-)
Omg mint gum works wonders for me too
if you talk to your doctor she or he could percribe you a pill that disolves on your tong and its kinda sweet and it took my nausea away right then. if you also dont like to eat the lemon you could also put it in your water and that helped me too. just a suggestion=). i have never tried ginger before. do you know what kind of ginger like the root or the drink??
Thank you all! I'll start by trying ginger, lemon, then gum (I don't like mint either, so I hope it works). If still unbearable I'll talk to my doctor in 2 weeks.
i ate gum that has mint in it and it took my nausea away right then and then once the flavor when out i really didnt have nausea for alittle bit but then i got that feeling again and i poped another peace of gum in my mouth. so mint or spare mint gum works for me and still does=). if you like gum i would recommend it =).
There are sea bands that you can buy at the pharmacy/store etc that help with nausea. They didn't work for me but I had friends that said they worked.
anything with ginger in it, ginger ale, ginger biscuits, ginger tea can all help vit b6 as someone has said, also grated apple has worked for some, having a dryed biscuit and a cup of t before you get up from bed has also helped some, there are also homeopathic remedies that work well, nothing will actually take away the morning sickness they just help to make it more bearable, also eat little and often
But ask your doctor before taking
I heard a b6 vitamin can help
Anything with natural lemon flavor
