First ultrasound

Anyone have any suggestions on questions to ask for first prenatal appt? This is my first pregnancy and I have a list going but don't want to forget anything. I'm also high risk as im epileptic from a shattered skull in the past. I had a ton of questions and now, the day before my appt, my short term memory loss (from the same accident) has got me all frustrated. Id really appreciate everyones help.

Thanks sooo much! I swear, this is the best app I've ever downloaded. I really appreciate your response, smjmekg! I feel alot more relaxed now. I just want to get the most I can out of my first appt.

Your dr should have a list of questions to ask you actually. I didn't really ask anything at my first appointment. I had an ultrasound to measure the baby for dating purposes, got an estimated due date...If you forget any questions a lot of us have had kid(s) so feel free to ask away! The only thing I can think of to ask really is if they are going to prescribe prenatal vitamins, or if you need to buy them OTC. Um, I'd ask about your medical conditions and what you need to do from here with the pregnancy. If you're taking any kind of medication you shouldn't stop unless they tell you to, remember to tell them about all and anything, any medical issues, anything like that. Congrats on your pregnancy!
