Needing a good doctor referral

I'm new on here but was wondering if I could get help getting some doctors in the dallas/ft worth area that deal with suboxone treatment during pregnancy? Will the ob/gyn do it? I've been trying to get off opiates for awhile, but with pain and the withdrawals, it's crazy. I currently since 2007 have been on hydrocodone to oxycodone and methodone with a fentanyl 100mcg patch every 48 hours. I just found out I'm pregnant like maybe 6 weeks and was going to try and wean down but wondering if cold turkey with suboxone would work better to just get off without weaning? Any ideas or doctors? Thanks! :)

Talk to your ob-gyn, it will NOT be the first time they have heard this from a pregnant woman.  I would not recommend cold turkey either, but do recommend you try acupuncture during the time of weaning off the drugs, and afterward for pain management.  It worked wonders for a chronic shoulder problem of mine that hurt me all the time.

I wouldn't go cold turkey cause thats a lot of stresson yer body n stress can cause a miscarriage...I would definitely talk to yer ob and see what they suggest
