Negative pregancy test but...?

My last period was on June 26. I had sex on July 12. July 16 I had a short 4 day light period, but i wasn't supposed to have my period until July 23. Now I am having pregnancy symptoms. July 26 came and I didn't have a period so July 28 I took a pregnancy test and it said negative. Is there any chance I could be pregnant????

this is a major rollercoaster ride you are on,,,, and the wait aint helping either....

many times i feel like my body is playing tricks on me,,,, at one stage i had all the symptoms there could be, but always neg  HPT... I was guttered !
but yet, with my first child, i had nothing , no symptoms at all till i was 5 months... so yeah.... our bodies are amazing and confusing at the same time !!!

I was wondering to all you woman who took all those HPT and they were negative, even though they were negative did you still just know? But at the same time thought you couldn't think like that because the PT showing neg?
I am also nearly 3 weeks late.  I had unprotected sex for 4 days leading up to my period.  The day I was due I started cramping and felt bloated as I normally do when I get my period I just thought my period was coming on.  Cramping went on and off for about a week 1/2 and still no period.  Seen my doctor, PT was neg so she sent me for an ultrasound to check cysts or etopic pregnancy etc but all clear.  So another week past and another visit to the docs and 3 more PT later - all neg.  Doc asked me to wait a week and come back then have blood tests done.  I don't feel sick or have tender breasts, couldn't tell you if I'm urinating more because I already drink ALOT of water throughout the day as it is and pee frequently, I have been experiencing slight (minimal) cramping in my lower right side, sometimes my left and sometimes up high where my diaphram starts.  Also I have had this 'bloated' feeling since the day I was due for my period... Today I actually feel more tired than usual however this has been on my mind for a week now.  I also am quite hormonal, my BF told me today that he is just happy (not about anything in particular) and I was happy that he was happy that I nearly cried..?  This has been THE longest week of my life waiting to go back to the doctors for the blood test.  And I don't want to say that I 'know' incase I'm not, the worst part is not knowing...!!

Oh boy!! I had bleeding for 3 days as well thought my period came early..
And then it never came again took a million pregnancy test ALL negative finally went to tge doctors and got a blood test came back positive!

a lot of my test came back neg for me too i had to go into the doctors and take a blood test..or u might just be taking it to early..try taking another home test in a week and if its neg take a blood test works better :0) good luck

sounds very promising to me i hope you are my fingers and toes are crossed 4 you. every body and pregnancy is differn't and everyones hcg is higher or lower in urine than others it does not mean there is something wrong with the pregnancy. let us no how you get on. lynne. :-D

It's possible.  You may have had implantation bleeding.  This happened to me once when I had a miscarriage.  You should probably go get a blood test.  Good luck!

yes no test showed positive 4 me until i had a scan at 3 plus months and even then stayed negative even the doctors test showed negative. leave it a week cos it's still early days and take a test if still negative ask your gp 4 a blood test.!! what kind of pregnancy symptoms are you having?. and you will need to take folic acid daily or prenatal tablets till you no 4 sure. good luck lynne let us no how you get on:-D
