I was wondering if anyone else on here is waiting or has waited to know the sex of the baby? It seems everyone knows what they are having and im the only one who wants to wait...i think the surprise would be fun!
Thank you!

I'm 26 weeks with our first and we decided on a surprise.  Everyone always asks what we're having and when I say "surprise" they all say "good".

Also I've heared so many stories where the couple finds out what they're having at the ultrasound only to be really surprised that it's not what they were told.

It's kinds nice too that we're getting all gender neutral stuff so we can easily reuse it  when we have our next one.

I just HAD to find out what I was having. My hubby could barely contain himself either. We're having a boy on Dec 23rd:) I am just really impatient! lol I wish I had the willpower to not find out the sex of the baby, but I definately don't:( Kudos to you though. I've had a couple of friends wait until the baby was born to find out and they said it was amazing:) Good luck with everything!

I am due Jan 10th,  and we are waiting. I think there are only 3-4 of us, out of nearly 40 that are due in January that are not finding out the sex.  What a wonderful surprise we will have !!!!

i wanted to wait to know the sex of my last baby i already had a boy and a girl so it didn't really matter to me so when i was at my 20 wk u/s i said no i didn't wanna know  so we didn't but then at about 31 weeks i had some bleeding and went into the er and had an u/s and the tech was like don't worry your daughter is doing just fine i was so mad but it wasn't her fault i should have told her we didn't want to know so if you want it to be a surprise whenever you have an u/s make sure you tell the tech you don't want to know

i love waiting till the babys born before i find out its a great feeling. i was going to find out this time but i few people i know have found out when they were about 17 weeks and i feel that the surprise of what the sex is just taken away and there no surprise when its born you know what your having so its not much of a surprise. im going to wait till the baby is born i didn't find out with my other 2 kids and it was a great feeling when they came out. Dont listen to your husband they men never get excited over anything lol let use know what your going to do good luck x

I wanted to know with my first.  This time around we are trying for a boy and did the have sex on just the day of ovulation thing to increase chances for a boy so im curious to see if it worked out.  One one hand i wanna know so I can see if the trying for a boy method worked however on the other hand I wanna be surprised. Im only 5 weeks so ive got a whole lotta time to flip flop back and forth.

I LOVE surprises but my hubby is not so fond of them...I think it is great that you are waiting to find out.  I think that a lot of people like surprises too but they like to REALLY plan and feel ready for their baby.
