I did all this research super early so to adjust myself to the idea of pregnancy and birth. You can do it when you feel comfortable but I suggest you dont wait until the last minute. The further along you get, the more your gonna want to focus on relaxing and preparing for birth. You should get it set in your head first how you want to go about doing this so your prepared for your preparation. For example, you dont want to wait until week 39 to pack your hospital bag. Normally its suggested women do it a month before thier due date. Your not going to want to pack your bags in the middle of labor or rely on someone else to know those particulars that will make a difference to you! So do it early so you can focus on relaxing yourself for labor instead of other necessites that could of been taken care of earlier.

Maybe look up some youtube videos or I hear Netflix has a movie called the business of being born or something like that.

Yu can ask for the epidural while your already in the hospital.  Or yu can do it with if yu would prefer. Some ppl say that it messes up your back in the long run but I'm not sure.  And am not gonna find out lol.  I'm gonna go all natural without meds. There's the epidural and it numbs yu to where yu don't feel pain if your going vaginally or c-section also numbs yu but that's when they cut your stomach open .

Google and your doc need to be your best friend right now chica. Your birth plan is just like it sounds. A plan for your birth. From who you want in your room, what drugs you want, circumsision, etc. You can google that too. I found a template to fill out that guided me along. I suggest you find your fave stores and create a registry. Target has check lists that tell you exactly what you need to put on your registry and all you have to do is pick out what you want! Also, baby center and bump.com have been my fave websites for info about pregnancy, birth and children. Hope this helps!
