Nipple Piercings ?

I Have Both Nipples Pierced And Ive Been Reading Up On Breastfeeding After Having Them Done .. Like Does Anybody Have/Had Theirs Done While Pregnant ? Ive Had Em for About 6 Months (Piercer Said It Should Be Completely Healed By Now) But I Was Wanting To Know Will There Be Any Discomfort Or Will It Effect The Baby Once I Take Em Out ?

My doctor told me I was fine to keep them, but to take them out before each feeding/clean/feed/clean again and put back in. He said I HAD to take them out for feeding because a) baby could swallow if it came loose b)baby could harm teeth once they have them and c)bacteria on the barbell itself. I ended up taking mine out though because they started hurting when my nipples became increasingly sensitive and I also didn't want the hassel of constantly taking them out

I leak all the time from the actual piercing holes, its weird i looks like 2 pimples on the side of your nipples and I haven't had mines in for 1 year now

Take out the jewelry when you do feed baby!   Baby could choke!

Having nipple piercings will not affect feeding the baby just make sure you clean them really good after each feeding
