still working in 3rd trimester?

I'm due in 4 weeks but my midwives say i could have her any time. I'm still working but feel like I'm getting dragged through the mud. My ankles look like tennis balls at the end of the day and I still have to take care of my 4 year old when I get home. I'm supposed to start maternity leave on Christmas eve, but I don't know if I can make it another week and a half working ... Anyone else going through this?

Same here due in 4wks n working 10hrs a day and have a 4yr old at home im going on my maternity leave the 18th i can't take it anymore

I'm still working as well. I start maternity leave on the 23rd and I feel like it's not coming soon enough ! Hang in there as long as you can !

I know just how you feel. I tried working up to term, but I had extreme abdominal pains and the swelling got so bad that I had to be pulled. It feels like my skin is ripping open when I swell. I say just go on leave. You've made it this far. No need to strain yourself anymore. Good luck.
