26 weeks pregnant and look half the size?! HELP!

Hey everyone!  If you have been reading any of my posts you know that I've been experiencing a lot of pain and been on bed rest until my fetal assessment ultrasound tomorrow.  I have pics posted in my profile when I was 19 weeks and have gotten bigger since those pics.  I took one yesterday at 26 weeks and am like HALF the size.  Why is that?  Has she dropped?  Just a concerned because I was WAY bigger before all the pain started. Thanks!

Mine does that too depending on how the baby is laying. Although I'm 34 weeks now and its obvious I'm pregnant, even at 28 weeks and some change sometimes the baby would be laying in a funny position and you couldn't tell at all that I was - then it would move around and he would pop back out.

My husband used to be all "did you have the baby without me?" during those moments. lol.

i think its just that your uterus is moving up and the baby has more room to be stretched outt!! I was like that too!! i wouldnt worry tho!

I definitely see what you are saying from your pics.  I honestly don't know... but I do agree with you that you do look half the size.  Maybe when you were 19 weeks you still had some bloating left over from the 1st trimester.

When was your last ultrasound and doctor's appt.?  Where is your pain?  Could it be round ligament or is it in your lower back?  You will have to update after your next appt. and let us know what your doctor says.

She could have turned!  Maybe before she was in the breeched position, and when they go head down, your stomach, well atleast mine get's smaller.  Otherwise, are your hips getting wider by chance?  That may be the case as well
