Have any of you ever seen or heard of "thunder snow"? Omg, it was so cool at first i seriously thought i was crazy til my 4 yr old came running in saying its lightening & i hear the bowling alley.

Hoping, you must come from a real small town if u think cedar rapids is big. After living in des moines, cedar rapids seems really little

Indianapolis here and only supposed to get 1-2 in. Lol not enough to last til Christmas.

Luvinlife... I have relatives who live in Waterloo. I visit every year in the spring. Last year I had to go thru there cuz we missed our turn and decided to just take a diff route. Lol. Gma FINALLY trusts my driving now since I handled cedar rapids without freaking. She was like omg so many ppl. Too many overpasses. I was trying to keep her calm. Lol.  Didn't help it starting raining which always stresses her out. :-)

I live right by cedar rapids, they said we were supposed to get 8-16 in last night & only have maybe 6 if even that. Des moines on the other hand got 11 inches.

We have a blizzard warning here too in SE Ontario but you wouldn't think so its so bright and shiny out

Im sooo jealous I live in texas and I want it to snow so bad!! Yesterday I believe it was almost 70 degrees. I really want a white christmas but its not gonna happen;(

Yes ive heard and seen it! I live in east central wisconsin. Its been snowing straight since 1130 last night :)

I live a little northeast of the quad cities. It was thundering here over night but no snow yet. I'm excited for it to start :)
