So my bf has decided to go out of town for the weekend for his cousin babyshower and I'm so upset. We have not been apart for a year and a half tonight will be the first night I go to sleep and wake up without him there. I'm so sad this weekend is going to be miserable for me and he's so happy to be going but I can't share that happiness with him because I refuse to pretend. Idk what he will be doing while he is there besides going to the babyshower I don't feel like he should even be going but I feel like I would be so selfish if I told him not to go so I'm trying to be nice. He's leaving late tonight and won't be back till early monday this totally ***** :(

Get together with ur friends and make virgin margaritas for you and cocktails for them and have a ladies night!!

Omg gurl the weekend will go by soo fast my hubby was gone for months and months practically all my pregnancy u will be fine and the separation is good for the relationship

If you can't go then @LaurenMH and @lisaerin86 gave some great suggestions. Go out have fun. focus on bonding time with the baby. You're right it would be crazy if you asked him not to go to a family gathering. Just do you this weekend and have a great time. Don't put yourself in a funk for nothing.

aww that *****! Use the time alone to spend on you :) go get your nails done, or your hair cut, load up on your favorite food/cravings and just have a movie day, or go pick out a few baby things...when my hubby works midnights we barely see him that week so my son and I will go visit my family and go to the park for a walk or we have a day of disney movies.
