Terrified!

I'm 34 weeks today, but I'm convinced my baby is in the transverse position and not head down yet, I feel him in my ribs and pelvic area but when I'm laying on my side I feel him on either side kicking away...my doc said when she checks for dilation she'll tell me wether he's head down or not, anyone this far and still feel your baby isn't head down? I've had 4 natural births and wanna keep it that way with this one too!

With my last pregnacy my daughter was trabsverse and breeched the entire time, two days before she was head down... Granted she was faced up though. At the end I had sonos every week to check her. I wouldnt stress too much, being this is your 4th the baby probably will move last mintute. I would ask for a 38w sono cuz you can always have the ob try and flip the baby. Good luck.

Check out spinningbabies.com
They have info on baby position and ever positions to encourage the baby to get into the right position.

Best wishes!

my baby was transverse at 30 weeks ( i know a little sooner) and then 6 days later she was heads down... so it can happen quick.. even when she was heads down, I could feel kicks on both sides,, one was hands? the other feet? ill never know  i hope he is heads down for you soon.. but they are more likely to turn if they are heads down the nbreech

It's amazing how acrobatic they can be. If your doctor isn't worried, I wouldn't be worried, you still have plenty of time for him to turn. I am sure all will be well. I am sending good thoughts your way

See I'm worried about that, it's like he constantly rotates in there, I don't see how he has that much space?!

I am actually having an ultrasound today because my doctot wants to make sure he stayed head down. With my first son, he litterly didn't turn until the day before I went into labor.
