Not to sure what it is

My son is almost 3 months, I've noticed that his scalp is really dry. Kind of like he was dandruff but it's on his scalp not his hair so I'm not sure what it's from or what I can do to make it better, he uses the jonhsons baby shampoo btw. Any suggestions ladies?

My ped told me to use a small amount of selsun blue for cradle cap. I used that and baby oil and it cleared right up.

Baby oil and a soft brush works wonders, leave the oil on overnight then brush off the scaly stuff in the morning. Make sure you're not washing his hair too much, but scrub his head well with your fingertips when you do.

Might be cradle cap. I think your supposed to try stimulate the scalp by brushing his head even if he doesn't have hair. You could brush it and lube him up with lots of lotion. ? Otherwise, I'm not sure.  Good luck. Let us know if you find something that works.

It's cradle cap. My youngest had it too. Her doctor recommended getting a very soft (baby toothbrush) & when you wash his hair kinda rub the spots with it to get it to come off then rinse his hair very good. It works!
