Nutrition Question! Need advice

I'm 9w with my first child and I'm concerned about the substance of my diet. I take my prenatals every day and I drink a lot of water. I've also cut caffeine out of my diet nearly completely. But lately I've been running out of food and I won't be able to afford more groceries for a week or so. I've been eating hot dogs and macaroni and cheese, pretty much whatever is around and I'm worried about the lack of nutrition for the baby. Any suggestions or am I being overly concerned?

Ok that makes me feel much better!  Yes I crave fast food and brownies all the time! I try not to give in too much but it's all that really sounds good at the moment haha. Glad to know you had a healthy baby girl and congrats on your new little one! (:

Haha :D you know, with my 1st child money was tight also and I spent a lot of nights eating hot dogs and ramen noodles, baby was still almost 8lbs (he's 13 now)! Just don't starve yourself and don't blame yourself for not eating right, you'll probably be craving much less nutritious foods before this pregnancy is over! I have! (im 22weeks right now)

Yea I'm sure you're right. Being broke just *****, but many of us are unfortunately. I guess I'm just gonna worry about every little thing being a first time mom! Haha

You should be fine. There are a lot of people (myself included) that are going thru severe financial burdens and can't really afford the healthiest foods right now. As long as you don't spend the entire pregnancy eating this way (you'll gain tons of weight if you do!) And continue with your prenatals you and baby will be just fine :)
