OT: Anyone else Christmas shopping?

I asked this on the Maternal & Child forum but wanted to pose the question here because I feel I'll get more response:

I know this is seemingly strange but I start Christmas shopping after my oldest daughter's birthday (June). We wouldn't be able to afford to do any gifts if we did it all in the fall/winter so I have to start early and get things here and there.

So my question is............. what should I get my 3 year old? She loves bicycles so I was thinking maybe a bike with training wheels. Just wanting to hear some other thoughts. And I'd love to hear what everyone else has planned (if anything) for their little ones! I am always stumped when it comes to gifts, especially because they're too young to tell me what they'd like. When I asked my preschooler she said she wanted a vacuum. Um, no. (She already has a play one.) Or how about a baby girl who will be 21 months old at Christmas?

Okay, I looked up the power wheels but they're way too expensive for us. So I found a CUTE toddler bicycle, with training wheels, for under $40 and it has amazing reviews.

BTS, stocking stuffers are my FAVORITE thing to buy! I literally stuff stockings.

My boys get 1 big gift each for their birthdays and xmas. This year my boys 2 and 4 asked for the power wheel hummer, the car they can actually drive. Then I get a bunch of little stuff, games for their leapster learning pad, Clothes, and little toys here and there. My oldest son just got a bike with our tax rebate check, so a bike isn't in need for mine, and Aiden is to small, so he has a tricycle.

Other than that I get a bunch of action figures, bubbles and bubble blowers, just all around fun stuff and stocking stufferes, I usually get bath toys, like water crayons and so forth.

im that last minute type of lady. the one practically running over people with her shopping cart 2 days before xmas eve. i think a bicycle is a great idea. i need to get my 5 yr old a new one, hers has had it. im thinking 4 wheelers for both of mine this christmas. the type that comes with the little control the parents use to cut it off if it gets too dangerous.
