OT-BDing while on period?!

Ok I just googled if it's possible to get preg on your period b/c I was told you could and I found this post that says you shouldn't have sex on your period b/c it can cause endometriosis! It says that sex can force the lining being shed back up into the fallopian tubes! What? Is that true? I've never heard that b/f in my life!!

Thanks girls! I have BD on my period b/f and was freakin out when I saw that online b/c I had never heard of it! I will ask my dr though too. It's crazy what ppl come up with!

If you read my post you will see the only way to concieve during your period would be if you have short cycles.hence why i said if you have sex during your period,then sperm can be waiting so one may ovulate 3-4 days following a period,sperm can survive in the right enviroment for up to 7 days.generally being 5.so although sex took place  during periods,you wouldnt actually concieve whilst having a period.its impossible.but if you ovulate straight after then yes possible.if your worried in any way then take a test,good luck..

i disagree with the staments with my 3rd child i became pregnant  on my period i know this cause that was the only time i had sex in those 2 months so yes you can become pregnant while on your period and there is some woman on here who will agree with that as well its rare that it happens but it does happen my child is living proof

conception during your period is next to impossible. like tarajanes said, you cant ovulate and have a period at the same time, however, our bodies dont always work like clock work, though ovulation normally occurs 14 days before our periods are due regardless of what cycle lenght we have, wether it 24 days, 28 days 31 days or more, ovulation may  occur at anytime during your cycle.  therefore, if pregnancy is not wanted, ensure to be on b/c because having a man ejaculate inside you on days when you think your not ovulating or safe days can still can you pregnant. not sayn this is your case and its not exactly apart of your question but just throwing that advise in there. :)

as far as endommetriousis occuring becus of sex during a period, ive never heard of that either. talk to ur doc just to be sure though. i know friends who still resume in sexual relationships during their periods and have been doing so for years!

No its not true,you can have sex anytime you like,there is no proof of it causing endometriousis.as ive said to people before,you cant concieve during your period,a period is the linning shedding due to non fertilization of the egg.you can not ovulate and have period same time,since ovulation is needed in order to concieve then its not possible during your period,if you have a short cycle ie 24 days,and were to bleed for 5 days,on a 24 day cycle you are likely to O around cd10 which means,bedding during those 5 days of your period,sperm can be waiting in your tube for the egg to release.if you have a 28 or longer cycle then its not possible as you wont be ovulating as early.
