hi ladies quick update im 40 wks pregy wednesday. stil no sign of baby comin yet bt i cant wait seems 2 b takin 4 eva iv tried everythin. wel if nethin happems il b bk intouch asap. bt gt midwif on tuesday to so il try n post again then. wish me luck that e comes in a day or 2. i dnt want to b induced.

Hi there, hope it happens soon for you, if you have to be induced then so be it, at least your have your baby here. I had to have a c section on monday and i really didnt want it but my baby boy is here safe and sound. Good luck. Kelly x

Well I was stuck in labor for 2 days because my daughter was HUGE and nobody knew she was that big.
They put this lil thing with a BIG LONG string at the end of it to ripen my cervix or whatever over night, and next morning I was gunna be induced but that thing that got my cervix soft actually caused me to go into labor on my own.
But they still gave me the indcution drip stuff to get my contractions going a little better.
I actually did the first half of my labor without any medication and it really wasn't that bad.
My epidural actually made everything worse cuz they did it wrong both times and all it did was leave me paralyzed from the waste down so I couldn't get comfortable and after it wore off it left me with perminent back problems.

I got stuck at 7cm and ended up having to get a c-section cuz my water had broken earlier that day and we were running outta time.
I hated it, but good thing I went thru with it because my daughter was 10lbs13oz and would have NEVER fit through my pelvis!!

The induction process really isn't that bad.
Some women said it ***** more, other say it doesn't.
Every woman is different.
If you need to be induced, then don't stress about it cuz you'll be just fine!
Just remind yourself you'll be holding your little bundle even sooner!!

I dont know if what I went through would be considered an inductition or not but I went to the hospital after my water broke. I immeditly asked for an epidural because I was feeling a whole lot of pain by the time I got there. The point is that my labor stalled out after that. I went hours with no change at all. The put me on pitiocen to get things moving. It wasnt bad at all but them again I had an epidural. It wasnt working so they uped the dose. Finally almost 11 hours (I think) after my water broke I had my little girl:) In my case it wasnt bad, but I didnt go in for a schedualed induction either. Good luck I really hope your little one desides to come before it comes to an induction!!!

I feel for you girl.
I hadda wait 8 days past my due date till they finally would induce me!!
It was agonizing cuz I was so HUGE and I wanted to meet my lil gurr sooo bad!! lmao

I can't believe its taking so long!!! Im sure he will come out when he is ready. Are u still 3/5's engaged now or do u think u might have moved further along? Keep us all posted!!! x

Good luck...its not sooo bad if you have to be induced thou either!! But i always wanted to go on my own! SOO good luck have you tried EVERYTHING???
