OT Elijah fell on his face :(

So I took him to the doctor because his diaper rash had come back, which turned out to be a yeast infection, and while waiting  for his prescription I decided to let him walk around since he was tired of sitting. So he's on his happy march all over and out of nowhere trips. He falls face first, like he was in shock from tripping, right into the tile floor. He didn't make an attempt to catch himself like he usually does. He bled a little which quickly stopped, and swelled up quite a bit. I checked out his mouth a little while ago and his gums on the top are bruised, they're blue! But he doesn't seem to have any other issues besides the big lip and blue gums. Thank GOD his tooth on the top left is barely poking out one tiny bit of the end, it could have been a lot worse. Poor baby. Oh well, not the first time he's been hurt and definitely not the last.

I knew it was a yeast infection!  Sounded just like what we went through...if you need any yeast defying tips let me know =)

I cringe at the thought of all the booboos we have to see as moms!  Hopefully he's feeling better.

Poor little guy. They are very accident prone when learning to walk! I hate to see the little ones get hurt but it's gonna happen.  You can only comfort them and hope that it doesn't happen again.

By the way, this pic was taken about 4 hours after it happened.
