trouble sleeping...

I am currently 35 wks and 6 days and i can't sleep at night. I constantly toss and turn and sometimes end up on my stomach. Now...can this hurt the baby at all....I know that as you get closer to your due date you feel less movement and all...but seeing that i am constantly moving around from my sides to my back..do you think that i am harming the baby while doing this?

Girls - Try taking Unisom...It's OTC...Walmart, Kmart, etc sell it...I work 12 hour night shifts and when I was preggo I had asked my OB if it was OK to take and she said yes....They actually use it sometimes to help treat morning sickness.....I only take 1/2 tab when I do take it (probably only 2-3x/month) and it works like a charm.......If you are nervous about taking it, just call the nurse at your OB office and confirm with them that it's OK......Happy ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's.!

I'm amazed that you even end up on your belly! I am 31wks 2days and I can't even think about being on my belly! I actually tried the other day and there is just no way. This belly of mine is too big!! lol. I can't sleep at night either and I constantly toss and turn from my sides to my back, you aren't harming the baby at all. Do you sleep with a pillow in between legs? That has helped me so much to stay on my side and it's very comfortable right now.
