OT: Remember how my stepsis ran away months ago?
Well, those of you who remember, know my step sis ran away in Jan. She went to bakersfield with her siblings and mom. Her mom lost custody of her and my stepdad got custody, however he passed away last year and my mom gained custody.
FINALLY the cops went by the known address and found her, picked her up and are holding her at a holding center. We're driving 4 hrs to pick her up tonight. We're taking her best friend (who lives here) and TJ since we figure that'll soften her mood a bit. (she LOVES tj)

im really glad to hear that they found her! hopefully she wont try something like this again. in the end teenagers are just teenagers i guess.
Thanks ladies! We will figure out the food thing.... I was just extra moody the other day....
it does make things easier on me (pregnancy wise/stress) She said she doesn't plan on running away anytime soon and she feels she has changed in the time she was gone. Her best friend is gonna tell us if she threatens anywayse.
(the friend hadn't before but told us after and helped us get her...)
Oh.... little update. DH and I saw "Knowing" today at the mall... Im gonna have bad dreams I know it cause these days anything remotely disturbing will do it to me.
I went by motherhood and got my FIRST maternity shirt, it's PINK and says "Baby makes the belly go round". :)
I've had 2 ppl, my mom and the woman at the store make a "twin" comment. I'm only 5+ weeks today (I'm not underestimating) AND already am feeling a bit of M/S, AND my belly has a pooch... not a true "show"... I look pudgy. But it's there and it wasn't before.
I was told that it could happen faster the second time... but this fast?!?

Linzola~ My mom has custody and legal guardianship over her. She ran because she missed her siblings (not the one tho) and her friends. I guess she has been thinking of coming back here......
When the cops came to her house her mom tried to play it off like it wasn't her but her other sister... then she said "no mom, tell them the truth, I'm Kim" (according to her best friend)
Her best friend has kept in contact with her, and has kept us informed of what's going on with her while we figured out the best way to get her.

I agree! I remember that post! I am glad they found her! Who will have custody! Do you know why she ran away? Sorry if I am beingtoo nosey!
She will be 16 this year. My mom has legal custody. I'm gonna PM you to tell you more.
