I just saw this news story and thought it was a good reminder for us to be careful on who we befriend sometimes:

Its about a blogger who was fake and faked her baby and the babies death.

I would never call someone out, but that doesn't mean you don't know they are full of it. When the bs meter starts to go off I just don't pay attention to their story anymore. I know the road to pregnancy can be a long and winding one with lots of bumps in the road. It's nice to have a place like this to be able to post your crazy questions and symptoms. That said not every person on this site is for real. I'm sure there are people in the cancer forums who don't have cancer. It's a sickness all it's own to need that kind of attention.

That's just nuts...it amazes me at the insane things people do.  I agree with Linzola though,  yes there may be some crazy posts, some outrageous questions and some people that seem OBVIOUSLY fake.  But I prefer to err on the side of caution and just assume it's real.  To me, it's not really hurting anything if I post real advice to a potentially fake question.  Atleast then *I* know I tried to help but I also know there's a chance it's not real.  But as Linzola said, it would crush someone if it WAS real and they were called a faker.  I've been through 2 miscarriages and one stillbirth (all 3 of which I can prove Haha j/k) and it would have devastated me to have someone say I wasn't being truthful about it.

How awful. I cant believe someone would do thatand put so many people through that! I know when someone goes through terrible thisnghereI feel their pain!

Although I have to slightly disagree with what NicMom said.. I think that some people and I know this first hand have had positivepregnancy tests and comehere and say hey I am pregnant then come tofind out the test was wrong! Ihave had that happen twice. Its awful even if it was unplanned! Needless to say you can NEVER say someone faked it, you would honestly be destroyed if you went through it and someone said you were FAKING it!

Wow...some people really are crazy. How could someone even bring themselves to fake something such as losing a child?? That is heart breaking. There are sick people in this world!

People are creepy. I'm know there have been people on here that faked a pregnancy only to fake a miscarriage. It makes me sad to think of what they must have going on in real life to cause that type of behavior.
