PCOS or pregnant?

My partner and I are ttc baby number 2.  Feel I have not been listened to by my doctor. I have been pregnant twice before, with my first pregnancy ending in miscarriage at 8 weeks. In both pregnancies I conciwved within 6 weeks of trying! (I do know this was very lucky). In January 2012 I had my copper IUD removed, waited until I had had a period  and started ttc. My periods both with an without IUD have always been every 5-6 weeks apart and heavy. Beginning of March I had 6 days of light spotting, end of March 4 days of light spotting and then in the middle of April 1 day of heavy period and then 3 days of a light period. That "period" began on 19th April and since then no period just neg preg tests. The thing is my breasts are bigger, sore nipples, I'm tired a lot of the time, put on some weight,  nausea, constipated, and a bit on the emotional side. I was a little concerned that no period or pos preg test so went to doctor. Within 5min said I probably had PCOS, refused a preg blood test but instead
told to do another urine test if neg some hormone tests would be arranged. Doctor was arrogant, her attitude was "well missing period for a few weeks must be this.... You are not pregnant.... " No info on PCOS given, or why suddenly following IUD removed an after a normal period suddenly PCOS os to blame for no periods or pregnancy. Anyone any advice? Can ttc with PCOS do this when everything seemed ok before? IUD was the standard copper 1, no hormones. Sorry this post so long I am just looking for advice/info on what tp dp next for the best. I was left feeling very stupid an rather upset by doctor so will not be going back there in a hurry! I  know it can take sometimea years tp co ncieve an know I was probably just lucky in the past, I will keep trying.... Thank you for any advice, greatly appreciated.

Ya I agree I would get a second opinion. Sometimes drs just dont take time to listen and make sure things are done properly... Hopefully you get some different results in a couple weeks or some explanations at least.

I would go to another doctor and get a second opinion, it may just be your body is still trying to get back  to normal after having the iud removed, even if it wasnt hormonal it still might take time, although if it wasnt hormonal you still would have been ovulating normally, so I would def go to a diff doc and see if you can get a blood test done
