Is missed period & elevated bbt a sure sign of pregnancy?

Hi everyone I'm 4 days passed my expected period (it's usually on time). I have been having higher than ever bbt till now for 5 days straight (even higher than my usual lp phase temperatures). However hpt done 1 day after my missed period showed clearly negative. Could I still be pregnant n that my hcg takes longer time than normal to reach my urine? Should I test again and when?

AF just arrived today :( My doc told me I most probably ovulated late this month, and that antibiotics usually do disrupt your bodily rhythms (which I did take some time ago because of a nasty flu I caught). O well guess its try again for me.......

From what I read, if your temps continue to remain high for at least 18DPO and up, (and takes a next level than your luteal phase temps), that is an almost assurance for impending positive HPT
Good luck

To be honest with you symptoms of pregnancy dont really mean a thing.  Retest again in a few days if you don't get your period by then.  If you are very early into a pregnancy or have very dilute urine a HPT will not always detect pregnancy.
