I had my baby the 21st and I did poo while pushing I didn't have any pain meds I knew I was pooing when it happened bc I could feel it. I was embarrassed too but I was more worried about getting the baby out. Worst part was it did smell up the room to! Thank god my mom and fiancé didn't say anything about it or make me feel bad about it. The doctor wiped it away as soon as I did but it is still embarrassing
All I have to say is once your in labor & its time to push you won't care lol!
Im also scared of this happening. My husband is the one who told me about it happening to other women and he said it happened to everyone and thought it was funny. I have to admit ill be really pissed if he makes fun of me. Ide rather nobody even tell me lol
I have had 7 children and I have no idea if I have pooped w/ any of them. But I know if I did, my husband wouldn't make me feel bad about it. Like you don't have enough to worry about than someone basically making fun of you for pooping while giving birth...
I totally wouldn't worry about it. If you do, you do. If you don't, you don't. If you are that worried about it, I wouldn't let my husband in the room and then he can miss out on the birth of his child. If he can't be more sensitive, then maybe he deserves to. Good luck though.
This is the one and only thing im afraid of when it comes to labour. Bring on the pain, just please hold off the pooing lol
im a ftm and scared of that too. dont really care aboutthe doc seeing me poop they probably seen hundreds of ladies do it but more my husband knowing that i did it. he will not let it go if he knows a pooped lol. and he'll probably embarrase me while im in labor lol
I was worried about this but i never did. It's natural and nothing to be embarrassed about. The nurses say a lot of women do it. You weren't the first and you will not be the last. Try not to worry and just focus on bringing your baby to the world safely.
I did for my first baby. This is my third pregnancy and honestly that's never been an issue for me nor have I found it to be embarrassing. I was more afraid of having to get cut or having any complications. Other than that my biggest plan was to remain calm, follow doctors directions and help them get my baby out safely. The poo thing wasn't on my mind at all.
It was one of my biggest fear I had my son last Sunday and started to go and I couy hear it and started crying and saying ewwww. But the doc reassured my that it was ok and nothin was nasty about it. Trust me you will completely forget whe that precious little baby is in your arms
I hope i end up lucky and not poo in myself
Omg I am the same but it is normal it still scares me tho! But so can't wait to meet him in feb :-)
I have had 4 kids and only with my last did I poo. The nurse simply wiped it and kept going lol. Its a normal thing that happens and tell him well next time Ill tell the nurse to let you wipe it up since you find it so amusing.
Trust me you are going to be so involved with pushing your baby out you will not care if you poop or not. And the nurses see it all of the time so its nothing new to them.
I was horrified that it happened to me! I was beyond embarrassed when i found out i didnt find out until about a month after birth. Then i realized (of course from the magnesium i was so far out of it i wasnt aware of what was going on) that i laid in bed with it on me for 3 flipping days because i wasnt allowed to get out of bed because i was at falling risk with the magnesium, even had a catheter in until they FINALLY let me get up. Im rather disgusted by that. This one i told my husband if im too far out of it to know whats going on and it happens tell them to get me into the damn bath or shower! Idgaf if im falling risk or not surely someone can help me bathe at least!
Im a ftm...I read this somewhere. I dnt want my bf in the room...actually I dnt want anyone I know in the room b/c of this. I would b do embarassed
