I worked all the way til the end of my pregnancy.
Planning to work up until the bitter end but I've been told by a few others that i should take a week or two off beforehand. I'm just not the kind of person that can sit around with nothing to do...
I stopped at 30 weeks not because I wanted to though. I was planning on working up til my due date.
I worked until I got Induced which was at 38 + 3.
Idk wen to stop I work as a server nd we dont have any food runbers hostess bus boys we do everythinggg nd its already hard for me I dont wanna leave to early nd jus b home but its getting hard to carry so many plates b running around nd cleaning all the tables
With baby 2 I worked up until the day I was admitted into t hospital.
i left at 22 weeks . but that was because my hours went from 24-28 a week to just 4hrs a week with them saying i wont get more. and well i can't live off that $70-80. so my bf told me to quit and try and get a new job, but noone will even hire me now and im only 24wks. looking at govt. assistance now. i hate sitting around doing nothing .
I was goimg to work til 36+1 but got signed off by Dr at 34+4 x
zaira...how far are you? that sounds exactly like my job!
@amy how did you let them get away with that? I would of sued the mess outta them that is discrimination.
Im 31w I have trouble breathinh nd ugh jus working its hard for me already!..
@amy I agree with kenslysmom sounds like it to me too!
it was only mcdonalds i worked at anyway. but because i am 19, nearly 20, they give all the younger people the hours instead because theyre cheaper. :(
It doesnt matter. That was wrong on sooo many levels and you probably could still do something about it. There is no way an employer could justify giving anyone that many hours. Honey, i hope you take the steps to get you a nice, fat check from Mcdonalds.
I am supposed to be done at 33+5, but it's looking like I wont be finishing the last 5 days...
I got written off on disability at 30 weeks it was to hard for me to stand for 8 hours and my job doesn't do light duty so my doc took me off. I've been pretty bored but I'm finally having Lil man tomorrow through c section.
I'm planning to leave a couple weeks before 37ish weeks. But lucky me I have a front desk job. although the Dr office I work for gets supper busy its nothing compared to what some of you mommas do.
I work in a factory and will be working til the end. My doctor said he'd rather have me on my feet all day then sitting at home. Standing is better for swelling than sitting. I'm also allowed to lift up to 40 lbs
Up until I go into labor hopefully! I'm pregnant not disabled and I hope to stay busy up until I can't lol.
I work at UPS and they allow you to go out on leave at 20weeks. My job is just too physically demanding for me to stay so I've been out 7weeks now and won't be back until after the baby. There is no light duty, they expect you to be 100% so I didn't have a choice
