How do you deal with people starring at you and saying nasty comments about you behind your back? I'm 20, a ftm and I'm super excited. Well the other day I was shopping at target for a few things I needed for my house and a lady behind me whispers to her daughter "that's what poor choices looks like" and I turned around and told her that I hope you know I can hear you and you have no idea what you are talking about. Turned around and continued checking out. I maintained my strength in the store but as soon as I got in my truck I started crying. How does someone say that about someone else??

I'm a quiet, calm person but if I ever get to hear a comment like that towards me I will deff tell them off!! I'm excited with this pregnancy and I look like I'm 18, so people deff stare.. I stare back lol.. They got the nerve to talk about things they don't know..

I think I would get really nasty with them if they said something like that to me. But where I live a lot of women have kids at a young age so it's nothing new here

I had the same thing happen to me a lady look at me and said "your pregnant!?" I replied yes and she said "o I'm sorry" I looked at her like wtf !? It mad me so mad plus it's not my fault she wasn't happy with her pregnancy I'm happy with mine geez ppl are just rude I swear

I feel you ! I'm 20 and a ftm as well . But my appearences make it look like I'm 15 . People look at me and my belly but its even worse when they see my boyfriend cause he's bald . They come up with stuff like " be careful " "he's a bad guy " " he's a gangster " " you're putting your baby and self in danger being with him " he's my baby daddy and if he wants to be bald then so be it. The best thing to do is just laugh at their ignorance and keep on going cause they don't know your life and are no one to be judging . Just tell them that they're are ignorant and if there are no nice comments then don't say them .

I mean, I am a very educated woman. Almost finished with school, hold down a steady job where I make good money. My boyfriend makes great money as he just graduated college and we are financially stable and I get treated like I'm 12 years old and pregnant it's just upsetting really..

That's terrible! In no way does young and pregnant mean incapable of holding your own. I'm currently writing about this and trying to get as many side's on this topic as possible. I'm sorry that happened to you. We can't change the world or others opinions about things not that they even matter. You handled that quite well and don't ever let anyone judge you! Stay strong momma!

I'm sorry that happen to you but I wouldn't worry about it, there is nothing we can do about stupid judgmental people!  This happen to a friends of mine who liked to dress punkish with torn jeans and colored hair, we were at a convenient store and some lady who was behind us with her daughter said "if you don't stop acting up your gonna end up like that bum with the weird hair in front of us, living on the streets with nothing" I heard her and was so pissed, i was like excuse me lady but you don't even know her to make such an assumption! I got into it with her but like I said stupid people like that won't learn,  don't let them get to you! Karma is a *****!!!
