Period after D&C

Hello,

I just got my period a month after the D&C procedure.
It seemed like a normal one, lasted for about 5 days.
A week later and I'm spotting again, like the kind you get when you are towards the last days of your period.
I emailed my ob and she said it's reasonable to get this for the first menstrual cycle after the D&C.
Did this happen to anyone?

Hi- well.. I know its kinda late to reply.. when 3 years have passed. I had a d&c at 9 weeks on July 15 spotted 2-3 days very lightly almost nothing seems that Dr. removed everything. Yesterday August 17 got my period after feeling miserable for a few days. I have been flowing dark dry brownish blood and very very tony blood cloths. Seems to be a normal period. Im an accurate on my periods. Well I hope this helps anyone with similar situations.
