Periods & Pregnancy?

Hi. Just need a little advice. As i've been told different things. I was just basically wondering whether it was possible to end up pregnant if you have unprotected sex either on the first day of your period or during any time of it?
Sorry if this is the wrong section. I'm not sure really where else to post it. Or ask!

You can become pregnant during the end of your period. The reason being that the egg is released and is in the fallopian tubes, not the uterus, at that time. The sperm meet the egg in the tube. If you have a short cycle or ovulate early, yes, it is possible to become pregnant during your period.

I agree, it is unlikely that you will get pregnant during your pregancy.  However, anytime you have unprotected sex there is a chance of pregnancy as I'm sure you know already.

pregnancy is based on ovulation,so in theory no since you dont ovulate during your period,as your period is the shredding of the lining, after failed conception, however if you have short cycles ie,21 days etc then yes its possible, sperm can survive for up to 7 days,so if you were due to ovulate few days after your period then yes its possible.as sperm will be there waiting.
