Pertussis/ Tetnis

Last appointment I went to the nurse asked between 30-34 weeks they reccomend me getting a pertussis/tetnis (I'm sure those are totally mispelled) shot. I said I would think about it. I'm kind of undecided. Have any of you gotten it? Or do any of you ladies think it'll be a good idea to get?

I had the Pertussis (Whooping Cough) jag, they offer it to pregnant women in Scotland between 29-38 weeks pregnant - and I took them up on the offer as there has been a high incidence rate of Whooping Cough in the area. It's just the Paediatric dosage they give you so that your baby is protected against the Whooping Cough should they become unfortunate enough to come into contact with it.     Babies are offered their own Whooping Cough vaccine here after 2 months of age.     From January -July last year, 13 babies died from it in Scotland as it can lead to brain damage and pneumonia, therefore I decided that I would accept the vaccine offered.    I also accepted the flu jag x

I chose not to get it but it wasn't offered to me until after I had the baby. No break outs in my area either and I just prefer natural so don't ever get any vaccines

I thought about getting it but my Dr said in my area we haven't had any outbreaks so there's no need
