should i say something to ob?

I have a history of mild pre-eclampsia. I had it at the ending of my 1st pregnancy causing my daughter to be born 2 weeks early. I'm 13 weeks and 5 days, all day today I've been light headed/dizzy with a light headache...should I tell my ob tomorrow when I go for my appointment or is it a normal pregnancy sign? Starting tomorrow they will be checking my protein levels at every appointment and I'll prob have to have my bp done weekly. TIA

Ok thank you. It seems to be better this morning but I'm going to ask about it.

A lot of test will show if there is complications or if they're most likely to come about later on, inform ur OB that u have had complications before & request that u get something with the different signs that usually come with it so know what to watch for. Some things can have different affects on each pregnancy.

Thank you. What do they do/have you do for it so early? For some reason I'm kinda expecting it because I went my whole 1st pregnancy thinking what if... Then I went to my normal appointment one day and was sent right to the hospital and came home with my baby. Tomorrow is my first appointment with the doctor who diagnosed me with it so I trust him a lot.

Yes always address any past problems.  I had different issues with each of my pregnancies & I've addressed each thing with my OB in case anything comes up. It also makes decisions easier for the OB if a c section or being induced Is needed later on.

I'd definitely let them know so they can keep an eye out for it. The sooner they catch it the better the outcome in my experience. I had it severely with my first and had my son at 35wks. This time they picked it up at 15wks and have been able to manage it pretty ok so far because they were looking out for it. It doesn't typically appear before 20wks so try not to worry, what you're experiencing could be normal pregnancy symptoms, but always good to get checked out. Good luck!
