GeekMom simply answered the question of what was best. She wasn't shoving her opinion down OP's throat, calm down.
My son was on enfamil premium newborn in the hospital and it worked really well for him, so I kept him on it. He's gaining weight and has had no digestive issues. He has never even spit up and he's almost three weeks old. But, like all the other ladies said, it depends on the baby.
Exactly... she asked for formula advice.
I formula feed and proud of it. Doesn't make you a better mom because you provide free food vs. Paid for. Keep your opinion to yourself. .you did nothing to help answer her question...
Anyways, it truly depends on the child. My daughter has a lactose allergy so she was put on a soy milk...enfamil prosobee.
A lot of babies that have sensitive stomachs are put on similac sensitive. .. That made my daughter constipated. It just depends on your baby. You may have to switch formulas a couple times to find the best fit for your baby.
She didnt ask about breastmilk, and its her choice if she wants to formula feed so maybe you shouldnt try shoving your opinions down her throat. Js
I agree with Geekmom but once I stopped breastfeeding I used Gerber with both my baby's and I never had any complications with it
Breast milk is the best food for babies. Nothing else even comes close.
I think its up to your child really like what they will be able to handle and not make them fussy. I think try signing up for formula and the companies send you free samples and you can supplement them in while breast feeding. (if you plan on doing that) if not a doctor can recommend one :)
There are so many and they are all good. It just depends on baby and what they are going to tolerate.
