Tired of everyone

Telling me to tell the state I don't know who the father is just because he doesn't want anything to do with it and has no job to supply child support. Wouldn't that be letting him win? Letting him know that oh, its ok if you knock up a girl and don't support it, she'll just say she had a few one night stands one week and she will take care of your child the next 18+ years while you go out and keep doing this. Really people? I'm not the woman that rolls over and let's horrible men walk all over me because they can't face responsibilities

Where I live, if he wants custody we would have to go to court, he'd have to take classes and would have to have supervised visitations until he can prove hes responsible enough. But he has another kid I found out, that he pulled the same stuff he's doing to me, so chances are he's not going to be a part of it at all

Sorry didn't finish...but I meant there's a downside to putting him on there that if u don't wanna share custody u wont have much of a choice....they will most likely give him some kind of visitation.  I would def think about it before u decide. If he does het a dna test and u get child support he will have to back pay to day one so he wont really get away with anything.

In fl its all tied in together. If he pays child support then we do a parenting plan because they don't call it custody. If I don't put him on the BC then he has to get a dna test. But im gonna put him on there

If you push him to step up, make sure to understand that if he does, it means sharing time with your child too. As long as you can handle that, good luck to you! You seem very responsible and determined.

if you want him to be on it then do it then when he does get a job you will get child support.

with my first son i didnt put the father on the birth certificate cause i wanted nothing to do with him i dont want his money or anything... i mostly did it cause if he wanted to one day be apart of his life it makes it a lot more difficult for him to do so.... when the name is on the birth certificate it gives the father shared custody sort of speak (in canada anyways)

like really men should have to take care of their responsibilities and its not fair to you that you do it on your own if you dont want to... so put his name on it...

He should be listed as the father that way if he ever does get a job he will have a child support judgement listed against him so he will have to pay up.  They will garnish wages and seize his income tax!!! If he doesn't ever pay, he will do jailtime!  So either way he doesn't get off!  Good luck to you.

He needs to learn to take responsibility or keep it in his pants! Maybe get together with the other woman as your babies will be siblings, strength in numbers after all

Well, I'm not the first girl he's done this to either. I found that out after I knew he wasnt going to be in the picture. Demanded a DNA test from her, same with me. I'm not letting him get away with this!

I don't blame u! I'd make sure everyone knew who the dad was and make him pay as soon as he got a job. Don't let people push you around.
