Pre-Pregnancy Preparation

Folic Acid alone  or Prenatal Vitamins??

In preparation for getting pregnant, I am confused on what is best in terms of vitamin supplements. My doctors says to take a folic acid supplement so I have started to take 1 mg. per day. Some of my female friends tell me that I should be taking the prenantal vitamins already to prepare but I am not taking  their word for it as maybe too much of a good thing isn't good. I try and eat a balanced diet although with my busy schedule it is sometimes difficult.

I want to give myself the best shot possible at having a successful pregnancy and would appreciate an educated professional's advice on the best choice.

Thank you.

Sorry I keep talking about my af but seriously.. it is highly unusual.

I know it's a period and I'm not pregnant, I just know because it's tooheavy to be just beginning of pregnancy spotting but yet it is far from being heavy! For example, I can only fill a pad if I've been wearing it for 12 hours! (Not that I've tested this theory.. ewwww) Just to give you an example of how slow I'm bleeding! Am I still screwed up over my miscarriage in September? I don't see why as I had a normal period last month in October!

Any advice, has anyone ever had one of these periods? I have ever ever had one of these! At this rate I'll stop bleeding by tomorrow day-end!  Will this change ovulation if I have a short period? Myabe I didn't ovulate this month? God, I'm confused!

Ok - don't think negative and don't worry from now on. We have to take it a day at a time and hope 4 the best. U have u think of it like this - it happened once it will happen again. Also believe it or not i heard that some women do get their period and can be pregnant on their 1st mo. So u never know. Lets all wait and see.

I'm panicking too - i'm gonna wait till thanksgiving morning and take the test if i dont get my period by then which i'm hoping i won't.

good to read that everyone sounds so encouraging of each other... gave me some hope for me as well...

As of today, I am 1 day late (still early...LOL) I tested this morning and get a very very faint line.. I doubt it is positive though since i got a non-popular stick..maybe the line just appear because of the moisture of the urine.. I dont know.. my  husband saw the faint line too.. he suggested to test again this Saturday.. but oh well....i wouldbe very  happy if i am pregnant ..been trying for 2 months.. but if i am not pregnant, i guess my brain has tricked mybody into having all the symptoms...once again..!!

I have sore breast for  the last 2 weeks.. my boobs gotten bigger but the tenderneess kinda subsides this morning... weird.. maybe I am not preggo... maybe i just wish i am..

Baby Dust to all....

A faint line is a line, no matter what kind of test it is.  I bet you get a more defined line on Saturday. :)  I look forward to congratulating you formally by the weekend. :)  It's true that your brain can make you feel various symptoms of pregnancy, but it can't generate a fake positive on an hpt, at least not that I'm aware of.  PLEASE keep us posted.
