Pregnancy Rules Paranoia

Is it me or do other pregnant women feel as if doctors these days make it somewhat dramatic about what we can and cant do and the risks that come in hand with it. Not for nothing I am all for taking precaution and delievering a healthy baby but at the same time years ago MAJORITY of pregnant women did as they pleased and MAJORITY of women had healthy children. I find myself spending more time stressing about the fact I put highlights in my hair when I didnt know I was pregnant or the fact I painted my nails with a mask on but its bad either way.

Yeah all these "guidlines" are murder! I'm 35weeks pregnant now with little to,no complications. Early on I was cautious but after hearing basically that a pregnant woman can't do anything but sit around and do nothing it got old. I went out and went shopping and walking and on vacation and I even continued to ride my horse until I couldn't fit behind the horn anymore. I'm fine and so is my daughter. There's risks with everything we do. Why let them stop us just because we're pregnant?

Yeah its is stressful. I get they have to tell us all the risks, big and small, but when you don't want to take any risks it's just scary to hear all the things that can go wrong. I'm completely junk food free too xocheyxo1w and it ***** but I do completely appreciate the risks around diet now.
