Pregnancy Symptoms Following Miscarriage

I miscarried November 26, 2008 at 4 weeks. According to the ER lab results, my HCG level was 25 and the ultrasound did not show a sac or embryo. I received my next period December 27, 2009.

Currently, I am experiencing sore breasts, light nausea in the morning and after meals, and a sense of bloating. I do not anticipate my next period until January 23, 2009. I took a negative EPT test this morning and received a negative result. Could this be a symptom of early pregnancy or hormonal changes following my miscarriage?

I appreciate any insight!

I am not sure, but would think that if you were still experiencing symptoms form the hcg from the mc you would have had a positive pregnancy test.  I would see your doc and also try another test in a few days.  The nausea could be happening very early because with my seccond pregnancy i was feeling sick before anything even showed up on the test at about 3 weeks.  Hope all is well and good luck.

It might be a little bit early to be experiencing those symptoms since nausea doesn't usually occur until 6 weeks or so since its a reaction to increased hcg in your system and at that point you should be showing positive for a test. Best thing to do is to contact your doctor and request a blood test or wait until your period is due and if you miss it take a test.
