Heart broken </3

So as some of ya'll may know I'm going to be induced on Sunday. At first I felt like a quitter for throwing in the towel, but after reading ya'lls wonderful comments I felt a lot more confident about the decision. I actually was looking forward to meeting my son.

Well I didn't realize D.H. would act different, he made thr comment that I needed to wait & that his other kids mother wasn't induced. It made me feel guilty. So he then tells me notto go to the hospital on Sunday. I told him that I had no way of canceling the induction date & I didn't want to take any risks if I wait. Well now hes pretty mad & acting like a fat-head. It breaks my heart that he would/could compare me to her. I'm not sure what his problem is.

On top of that the person that told me she would keep my other 2 kids while I delivered, tells me she can't bc she had other things to do. When I asked her what she said couldn't give me a reason only 'because'. I'm so freaking frustrated!!!!

ya its fairly standard here to be induced at 10 days over as the risks of keeping the baby longer increase and if you were here you would have to fight it out to stay pregnant longer... i was supposed to be induced at 10 days over but got bumped do to emergencies and lots of labouring mommas so my Dr sent me for a stress test and US just to make sure that waiting any longer(the one day!) wouldnt put my baby at risk... to me im not sure that your Dr would have given you much choice and prob asked you assuming you would say yes... you should print off some info for your hubby of the risks involved with keeping baby longer... and PS some women dont go in labour on there own, some its just the way it is... i myself had no chance of delivering normally...my fate was a Csection from the start.... just the way it is... and i hate to tell you this but inductions are not the easy way out... they are way more intense and still involve a great deal of strength if not more... i cant believe thats a big deal to him?! weird... and i  might add...thats a man for ya lol they dont think it thru sometimes, sorry your stressin again... it is TRULY best for the baby...

I made it very clear when I found out I was pregnant that my boyfriend could not compare this pregnancy to his ex, every pregnancy and birth is different he had no right! That would completely p i s s  me off!  You are not giving up, you are being a good mom and doing what is best for your child, dont let anyone tell you different. Ugh what a jerk.

most men just need a swift kick in the head!!! dont let him bring you down... i was induced with my last son (my third) and it was really by my own choice... i didnt want to go over due cause it can increase the risk of autism and my middle son is autistic so i was pretty much doing anything in my power to prevent it...

im sure that your reasoning is fine and the doctors would not induce you if you didnt need to be or if the baby wasnt ready... i would be very upset with him comparing you to his ex!!!! totally disrespectful...
