Ok I have midwife tomorrow I might ask her then phone citizens advice
Right so if I go back to work I will lose my smp as I seem online that if I have worked 26 week I should get it but my friend said she didn't get it as she did temping
You should phone citizens advice. I had the same problem and they helped me alot.
If I go back to work il lose it is that right?
You will lose out on SMP as you need to be employed for your entire pregnancy and your employer needs your MATB1 form by no later than 25w
Definitely go to citizens advice and I think you can claim income support. You should be eligible for free milk tokens as well
Citezens advice bureau can help you. They will tell you every thing youre intitled to and point you in the right direction.
I think you should go get advice from the job centre. You can get income support from 26weeks of pregnancy until delivery and then get the bonus lump sum to help with the cost of buying baby things. Am not sure about the maternity pay but getting professional advice is your best shot. GL
