Pregnant while taking Accutane

I believe I am pregnant: I had been taking accutane for several months during the month of may and june 2009 i had been forgetting to take the meds, i was taking them every other day. Around June 11, I took one than I forgot to take one until the 19th, which is the same day I think I got pregnant. I did not take any other pill after that, do you think this can harm my baby?

Hi. I was on birth control and accutane for about 3 months and quit taking both 3 weeks ago. I had unprotected sex a week ago. Could there be a chance im pregnant right now?

Accutane is about the worst med you can take while pregnant.  Get immediate attention from the doctor.  I work in pharmacy and know how very controlled it is with women especially.  I don't know if only three pills will do any damage, but do not take anymore!

Hi.. I'm also stuck in a similar situation as you. But for me, I didn't realize I was already pregnant and even took 3 tablets of Nimegen(also known as Accutane) during my first/second week or pregnancy. Can you advise on the progress of your baby now and whether is there any risk of birth defect? I'm really worried now.

try not to worry yourself about what you have taken or done before you knew you were pregnant.
the important thing is that you stopped now. im sure your baby will be fine. let your ob know this though so that they can closely watch for anything that could have happened.
but plenty of women use accutane and then come to find out they are pregnant and go on to have healthy babies. don't worry!!!
i drank, smoked a lot, took steroids (for bronchitis) etc before i found out i was pregnant and my daughter is perfect. :)
